Quality is not something we inspect for at the end. It starts with the people who grow the fruit.
Direct grower relationships
We buy from growers we know and have worked with over many years, rather than through anonymous commodity channels. Knowing where a harvest came from is the first and most important quality control step there is — and it is the one that cannot be added later.
Independent testing
Our kernels are independently tested rather than self-certified. Testing that we grade our own homework on is not testing, so we send it out.
Two seeds, two characters
We offer both California and Organic Turkish bitter raw apricot seeds. They differ in taste and texture, and neither is simply better than the other — which is the point. You should be able to choose the one that suits you.
Twenty-five years in, the standard has not moved: if a batch would not be good enough for our own family, it is not good enough to ship to yours.
